(and fat beer guts)
It was our first real family holiday and off we trooped to Nelson Bay, home to whales, koalas, dolphins but biggest claim to fame is shark capital of Australia (failed to mention that to Ivy )
At Oakdale farm you can feed the animals and don't they know it. They come running out of nowhere knock you over, tread over the toddlers and gobble up your last bit of food.
Poor poppy was traumatised and Ivy's rehabilitation with 4 legged creatures ( Dogs) has been set back years
Poppy and and a koala had a scratch off... poppy won of course. we even had koalas living wild outside our apartment. everyone else saw them except us of course
she then drove us to Fingal Bay.. made famous by Lara Bingle... say no more
we even did a dolphin cruise ... of course we had the crap day and only saw a couple. I swear when it comes to spotting wildlife I'm cursed
