Van Diemens land

After tying up Ivy in the shed we headed off to Tasmania for 3 days for a belated honeymoon. 
Free from our slave driver we could sample the delights of Hobart and answer the question everyone always asks about the apple Isle, Do all Tasmanians have two heads?
as you can see from the following shots there are actually no Tasmanians living in Tasmania so I have filled the rest of this blog with photos of Kate and I trying to look cool whilst wondering where in Tasmania have all the Tasmanians gone

The $2.50 day out

Sunday is recession buster day and for the tidy sum of $2.50 you can take your child anywhere in Sydney you like, be it train, ferry, tram, bus, even telephone booth, except you don't see too many of these around any more. 

As for us... we chose ferry to Darling Harbour and  back followed by escalator... this proved to be ivy's favourite by far
